Night 01: Night Train from Hanoi to Lao Cai
Embark on an overnight train journey from Hanoi to Lao Cai.

Day 01: Lao Cai – Sapa – Heaven’s Gate – Silver Waterfall – Optional Fansipan Cable Car (B, L)
Arrive in Lao Cai, transfer to Sapa, and visit Heaven’s Gate for stunning views and Silver Waterfall. 

Day 02: Sapa – Lao Chai – Tavan Villages – Bus to Hanoi (B, L)
Trek through the picturesque Lao Chai and Tavan villages, experiencing local ethnic cultures, before taking a bus back to Hanoi.

Day 03: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B, L, D)
Depart for Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a scenic cruise among limestone islands and a delicious dinner on board.

Day 04: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (B, L)
Continue cruising through Ha Long Bay before returning to Hanoi, concluding your Northern Vietnam adventure.

In the evening, our friendly tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the train station for your overnight journey to Lao Cai. Enjoy a comfortable night on soft sleeper berths as you travel through the scenic landscapes of Northern Vietnam.

Early Morning Arrival in Lao Cai
Arrive at Lao Cai train station in the early morning. Our guide will meet you for a scenic one-hour drive to Sapa, a journey through the majestic mountains.

Breakfast in Sapa
Once in Sapa, enjoy a delicious breakfast before starting your adventure.

Leisure Trip with Stunning Views
Meet your guide and driver for a leisurely trip. The uphill drive offers spectacular views of Fansipan Mountain. Just a kilometer outside of town, witness beautiful rose flower farms and expansive chayote fields grown on bamboo frames.

• Stop at Silver Waterfall
  Take a moment to marvel at the stunning Silver Waterfall, known for its breathtaking beauty.
• Heaven Gate & Tram Ton Pass
  Continue the journey to Heaven Gate and Tram Ton Pass, the highest mountain pass in Vietnam at 2,047 meters. Spend about 30 minutes walking around to enjoy panoramic views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Experience the unique weather variations, with Sapa often shrouded in fog while the opposite side basks in sunlight.
• Visit O Quy Ho Farms
  After Heaven Gate, head back downhill for a 7-km stop at lush farms in O Quy Ho, where various vegetables, flowers, fruit trees, and medicinal plants flourish, keeping this area of Sapa ever-green.

Approximate Duration: 2 hours driving / 1 hour walking.

Optional: Fansipan by cable car

The cable car system in Sapa is the world’s longest and highest system, running up from sleepy Sapa Town in Lao Cai Province to the peak of 3,143-meter: Fansipan Mountain, known as Indochina’s rooftop.

Reaching Mount Fansipan used to mean a full-day hike at least. But from Feb 2016, the trek up will be reduced to a 25-minute flight by cable car.

Wake up early and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the Sapa market, where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and observe the daily life of local vendors. 

Trekking Adventure Begins
At 9:00 AM, our knowledgeable tour guide will pick you up at your hotel to start an exciting walking tour. Set out on a lovely trek along buffalo paths and trails, passing through several charming hill tribe villages, including Lao Chai and Ta Van, home to the Black H'mong and Dzay people.

Spectacular Scenery
This trek offers an unforgettable experience as you walk through stunning landscapes inhabited by some of the friendliest locals. As you descend into the valley, take in the breathtaking views of multi-layered rice terraces and quaint villages dotting the hillsides.

Afternoon Return to Hanoi
In the afternoon, we will take a comfortable bus back to Hanoi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Overnight in Hanoi
Spend the night relaxing in Hanoi, reflecting on the incredible experiences from your day in Sapa.

Morning Transfer to Ha Long Bay
At approximately 7:30 - 8:00 AM, we begin our transfer to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its outstanding natural beauty. Known in Vietnamese as "Dragon Descending to the Sea," Ha Long Bay features over 1,000 limestone islets rising dramatically from the emerald waters, many of which house stunning grottoes.

Cruising Through Ha Long Bay
Upon arrival at Ha Long Bay, we embark on a scenic boat trip to explore this magnificent natural wonder. Enjoy a leisurely cruise among surreal islands, each more breathtaking than the last, as you glide across the tranquil emerald sea.

Evening on the Bay
In the late afternoon, we anchor for the night on the bay, providing an opportunity to relax and take in the breathtaking views. Savor a delicious seafood dinner on board, surrounded by the serene beauty of Ha Long Bay.

Overnight on a Junk Boat
Spend the night on the cruise in Ha Long Bay, falling asleep to the gentle sounds of the water and the stunning sights of this natural paradise.

Early Morning Activities
Start your day with early morning coffee and tea served on the sundeck, followed by a rejuvenating Tai Chi class that allows you to connect with the serene surroundings of Ha Long Bay.

Explore Luon Cave
After breakfast, embark on a Sampan boat to explore Luon Cave. Keep an eye out for wild monkeys that often gather around, eagerly waiting for food from curious tourists.

Cruise Through the Bay
Continue your cruise around the stunning bay, taking in the breathtaking limestone karsts and emerald waters.

Brunch on Board
Enjoy a delicious brunch served on the boat as we make our way back to the docks.

Return to Hanoi
After lunch, we will return to Hanoi, arriving around 4:30 PM. You will be dropped off at your hotel, concluding your unforgettable journey through Ha Long Bay.
