When you hear other travellers speak about Cambodia, Angkor Wat will be mentioned first of all. Which is logical! Angkor Wat is the biggest and most important religious monument in the world. Plan your trip there early in the morning, and make sure you won’t miss the sunrise behind the main temple. Another tip is to do a hotair balloon trip to view the region from above. You’ll never forget this experience.

Awesome beaches and bounty islands
When you are in the South of the country, you’ll see multiple beautiful white sandy beaches. Definitely in the Sihanoukville area.
Beside these tropical beaches, Cambodia has numerous fantastic islands which are not yet discovered by mass tourism. Take your journey to for example Koh Thmei, Koh Tonsay, Koh Ta Kiev or the better known island of Koh Rong.

The always smiling locals

Cambodia is also known as the “smiling country”. Historically speaking, the country didn’t have many things to be happy about in the past, nevertheless you will meet happy and smiling people everywhere. Difficult not to be influenced by this joy and happiness. I guarantee that after your Cambodia trip, you go home much happier!

Budget friendly

Everything is cheap! And if we say “everything”, we mean it. Cambodia is such a country where you can get many things with a very limited budget. Whether it is about accommodations, food, local transport or activities.
Tip: don’t always chose the cheapest! By paying a little bit more (and the price differences are really minimal), you can’t believe how much more comfort you get in return.

Phnom Penh is a modern Asian city, but not as hectic and touristic as many other Asian big cities.
