It is a pity that we didn’t get to meet you when we were in Hanoi. I would have liked to meet you. I understand how you must be busy with work though.

We had a wonderful holiday through Vietnam. The arrangements that you made all worked well. Our guides were all great, with a good grasp of English, allowing us to ask so many questions and to learn about your country. We were very impressed and have been passing on our recommendations to our friends to use you and have a similar experience. It was excellent!

Actually, we see that you run travels through Myanmar too? I’d be really interested to see what sort of tours you offer there. If you can please send some suggestions, we will have a look at them too. There are always more places to visit aren’t there!

I am back home. I loved the trip. you did a good job. All the 4 guides were great. The hotels were wonderful, except the Pleasant view in Yangon. The people there were very nice. They were helpful, but the room was not very good. The bed and the pillows were hard and not an enjoyable sleep. The room needs upgrading. Paint peeling and the doors were in bad condition.

That was the only negative to the whole trip. The air-conditioned cars were very good. I will say again your guides are very good and courteous. They know their information. I really like the Amata

Hotel at Inle lake. I will recommend you to my friends. I may go back next year. The people there are wonderful. I had plans to go to South America in 2016. I may change and go back to

Myanmar. I have to decide in the next few months.

My friends are asking me about my trip and I will refer them to you. Thank you again. When I told me guide, Thien, that I did not like the hotel in Yangon, he suggested that I contact you to change for the last 3 nights.

Since I was travelling and happy with the other hotels, I did not get back to you. My fault. I would have changed that hotel for another. It is done. I really enjoyed Bagan, and the Thande hotel was great

And with a great location. The staff of all the hotels were great and very courteous and helpful.

I would like to provide some comments about our recent tour of Myanmar.

My wife Onuma and I had a wonderful time and will gladly recommend your tour agency to anyone.  We have friends in America and Thailand and we will recommend your company if they decide to make a trip.

Each of our guides spoke excellent English, was well informed, patient with our needs, and always on time at the airport or hotel.  The car or boat services were also excellent, the drivers careful and courteous.  Every hotel we stayed was beautiful, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the hotel restaurants very good.

We especially want to give praise to our guides:  May and Lin in Yangon, Yin Yin in Bagan, Tommy in Mandalay, and Joe in Hebo and Inle Lake.   I would like to keep in contact with all of them, if they would like to provide their emails.   I will be doing business in Myanmar and to know English speakers in different parts of the country will be important.

Our only complaint has nothing to do with your company.   This has to do with the conditions at the Bagan and Mandalay airports, which we understand are maintained by the government.  Both airports were dirty, including the floors, seats, windows, and most of all the restrooms, which were of which were disgusting.   I have heard the same comments from other travelers, which means that others are staying away from these destinations.

Again, thank you for your excellent service and prompt responses to my queries before the trip.

Sorry for the delay in writing back, we hit the road running with Christmas and New Year back here.

I can’t tell you what a marvelous trip we had exploring your country. Congratulations in putting together a great package for us. All the guides were friendly and helped navigate us through Vietnam safely. We particularly loved the first half of our trip (Hanoi- DaLat) as there was plenty to see and activities to do. The food was amazing and at times fed way too much! We enjoyed the nights when we ate a little lighter from the street vendors. The people were friendly and welcoming, I remember fondly how we joined in on the laughing yoga in Hanoi in the early morning. The caves just blew us away with interesting formations and pure size. A great mix of adventure and scenic routes like the 17km downhill ride on a bike in DeLat, abseiling down waterfalls, to mountain walks and staying at the lovely Mrs Swan’s home-stay.

One thing I must tell you though, regarding tipping. Australians are not use to tipping and we asked you at the beginning about this and you answered that we don’t have to and it is not expected. This was not our experience travelling round. We were definitely expected to tip guides, bus drivers, boat rowers, horse handlers, almost everyone that gave us a service. This was a problem as we didn’t budget this in our sending money and we didn’t what to embarrass them or ourselves if we didn’t tip them the going rate.

But as I said above, we had a fantastic trip and have lots of fond memories of our time away. The itinerary ran smoothly and it was flexible the couple of times that we wanted to changed it.

Now that I am back at work and have internet again I wanted to take the time to thank you for an exceptional holiday.

I must say I was a little dubious booking through an overseas agent, however during the whole process you made me feel very secure with your very professional service and prompt replies to all my email requests. The care and commitment that you put into making sure our holiday was special meant the world to us.

I can’t thank you enough for helping to create one of the most memorable and special holidays in our lives. I requested a privately guided adventure style holiday for my sister, nieces and myself and the itinerary you put together for us I must say totally exceeded my expectations. The English speaking guides we had are also deserving of a special thank you, they looked after us very well at no point did we feel unsafe while in their hands  and it was great they were all from the areas we visited so that we had the local knowledge as well.

I am sorry this has taken me such a long time to write – straight after our holiday in Vietnam we went back to the UK for the month.

Sorry to hear you didn’t get your visa request…this time!!  Don’t give up.

Today we had 22o for winter, clear day. We have been really lucky with a very mild winter.

I have a few ideas for our next holiday Russia and Croatia or maybe India for 2017. Always looking for somewhere different to see. Your circumstances make me realise how lucky we are to travel in Australia.

I hope you getting lots of enquiries for the highlands Nth East of Sapa as we loved our drive through there.

It has been a wonderful experience for all of us in the last ten days. First of all, punctuality and cordiality of the driver and the guide at each of the locations was indeed remarkable – like our earlier experience in Myanmar. Apart from the usual city locations, your addition of exotic places (may be on suggestion of our Captain Jayati Sengupta) like Hoi An and visit to the near-primitive life of Mekong Delta inhabitants was very enjoyable. And of course, the sheer joy of visiting different temples of Angkor and the Ha Long bay left us extremely satisfied. The guide at Angkor was quite knowledgeable and his plan and sequence of visiting temples in a limited time-frame matched with our wish list.

Finally, meeting you at Hanoi was indeed a very pleasant experience. Of course we missed our captain, who has been planning things in collaboration with you all along. This past August we spent 12 days traveling around Vietnam. We had the best trip ever. This wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t because of Diu’s Agency and its help. Go Southeast Asia is a great travel company. Vietnam is about people, nature, landscapes, bustling cities, beaches, native people and even some mountains. Go Southeast Asia travel ties all of these together to provide trips that ooze this Vietnam essence. I have taken several personalized trips with Diu but the most recent was a 3 week May sojourn beginning in Saigon and ending in Hoi An. The trip combined planes, trains and automobiles except no trains and a van instead of an automobile. After spending a few days in Saigon and the Mekong Delta, we flew to Buon Ma Thuot and enjoyed some coffee and elephants before the arduous drive to Da Lat and a few days enjoying that climate and that city. From there another drive to Nha Trang and a couple beach days before driving to Phu Yen and a couple days later to Phu Yen and then Quy Nhon. After another couple beach days there was another long drive to Hoi An where we spent three days before flying back to Saigon. The trip was complicated but flawless. The guides were informative yet not too forward. The hotels were nice and waiting for us. The activities were geared to us. Go Southeast Asia travel has a special relationship with guides, suppliers, transportation and they all blend together for a seamless and enjoyable trip. Instead or worrying or waiting, we were able to enjoy the magnificent nature, culture and people of Vietnam. Thank you, Go Southeast Asia.

Just got back from the best trip I ever had in Vietnam together with a group of 21 people . From Hanoi down south to Ho Chi Minh travelling by coach, train, plane.

Everything was more than perfect and beyond my expectation.. Choice of hotels, food quantity and quality(a bit too much to eat), coach, driver and the 3 guides we had all very professional. All this thanks to the organiser of our trip Mrs. Diu who took every detail seriously and all was organised to the point..pick ups, drops to and from airports, railway station. Not forgetting the places of visits.. Absolutely fabulous!!! Would go back anyday and would recommend anyone who plans to visit Vietnam to go through Mrs Diu without any hesitation. The cruise was top class. We really got a royal treatment and made a few changes on the way which was done accordingly to our satisfaction. Keep it up and wish you a lit of success. That team had plan my whole vacation to Indonesia & Vietnam by me just sending Diu pictures I found from Instagram of places I wanted to see & experience. I did not have to worry about anything after agreeing to the itinerary. I was only asked for deposit so the company is able to hold the hotel other than that the full amount wasn’t due until the first day of the tour. Which put our mind at ease, because we were able to see faces and sign paperwork at the office. Due to a lot of scams on the internet/FB, I was happy to hear that this company did not take demand full payment. Throughout the trip or prior and even after if there was any doubt, questions, changes (which I did a lot) or even a problem that happened due to weather, the team was there to help or fix everything within minutes, literally. The guides and drivers were all very well trained, friendly, shy on our offers but at the end we became friends (we look forward to be seeing them again on our next trip as friends and not guides/drivers) . The guides we had, their English was better than mine and I was born in America. I am so grateful that I trust my instinct to trust Diu & Peter because I had the most memorable trip. Bonus, I was able to meet Diu Tran in Hanoi, she is just the sweetest & most hardest working person. I don’t think she sleeps, she is always on top of things at all time of day regardless of which side of the country I was on. Even after my trip she and Peter kept in touch and made sure we got home safe and not just during the trip. They really made sure I was happy and comfortable the entire trip. The best of the best… don’t bother researching any other companies to help you w your travel. I’ve used Go Southeast Asia Travel twice, and the most recent trip was to Vietnam. I’m a 62 yo woman and I travel 1x a year on a solo trip to somewhere I’ve never been before. I’ve been doing this since 1984 and have been to 48 countries. So, I have some travel chops and I can say without any hesitation, Go Southeast Asia Travel is the best company with whom I’ve worked. I contacted them after doing some research on the areas of Vietnam I wanted to see. I heard from them right away. I could tell by the initial response, I was talking to an expert. They asked all the right questions regarding the type of trip I was interested in (ie., relaxing, cultural, adventure, food). They asked about budget, time frame, type of hotels, what level of activity, and other very important questions. I had initially emailed a few companies and received responses back that sounded like I had reached out to a salesperson versus a person interested in helping me build a trip to Vietnam. It was also important to me to use a company in Vietnam so my money was going to Vietnam. The hotels booked for me were stunning and beyond my expectations. The itinerary was fun to put together with my contact person because she knew when to really encourage me to try something I had not initially planned on doing. And boy was she (always) right. The days were put together in a way that allowed just enough time to really explore, and enough downtime. The flights were organized, the tickets to get into UNESCO sites were paid for, it was absolutely seamless. I saw things not shown in the travel books or trip advisor so I felt like I was on a trip with Vietnamese friends showing me their home country. Also as a single woman traveler, it’s sometimes difficult to avoid getting hit on by guides. The guides Go Southeast Asia Travel hired were extremely professional and knowledgeable. I learned so much. Their English was fantastic. Their ability to be flexible was also great. I never felt like since something was on the itinerary we had to do exactly that. Sometimes we changed things if I wanted to. The drivers were all super safe, the cars were clean, always had water and hand sanitizers. Go Southeast Asia Travel stayed in my budget and never tried to push it beyond what I initially set. The Visa to Vietnam was taken care of, the airport pickups were right on time, out the door with their signs so I felt like I was always taken care of. Also, the experts at Go Souteast Asia Travel were available pretty much my entire trip. Checking on me to make sure things were going well. I felt like not only was I with an expert Guide and Driver, but I also had my contact person available if need be. It was an enchanting trip because it was Vietnam and because it was put together by Go Southeast Asia Travel. Bravo to their team!

Allow me sharing some feedback on the trip to Vietnam and appreciate your support at all the stages of preparation and execution.

Overall, we are very happy with the itinerary and set up on the ground. Separate mention to the hotels as well as the boat: very thoughtful selection and good quality of those.

Guides on the ground did a very good job. Special thanks to the gentlemen who accompanied us in Danang area and Hoi An, as well as in Saigon – very good balance of English, knowledge, and openness.

We have really enjoyed Reu restaurant and unbelievable Memory show – must visit for all the Hoi An visitors.

Mui Ne was a nice relaxing break after all the sightseeing and transfers. This beach was worth spending time there. What was unexpected and disappointing is the level of Russian expansion – not something that you have impact at. Just small remark here: for Jeep tour to Sandunes would be helpful to mention river walk and recommend taking water shoes and respective outfit (no long pants, dresses, name it).
