Day 1: Arrival in Paro (Meal: D)

Arrive at Paro International Airport, tucked in a serene valley framed by forested ridges and snow-capped peaks. If lucky, catch glimpses of the Himalayas—best viewed from the left-hand side of the plane. The steep, dramatic descent into Paro Valley immediately slows the pace of life, signaling your arrival in the tranquil Dragon Kingdom.

Transfer to Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary for check-in, where you can relax and enjoy the property’s amenities, soaking in the peaceful mountain air.

Day 2: Paro – Thimphu – Paro (Meal: B, L, D)

After breakfast, drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charmingly small capital. Despite being the country’s political center, it retains the feel of a traditional village.

- Buddha Dordenma: Standing 51.5m tall atop Kuenselphodrang Hill, this gilded bronze giant houses 125,000 smaller Buddha statues within. An aura of peace emanates from this serene landmark, overlooking the southern entrance of the valley.

Day 4: Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Meal: B, L, D)

After breakfast, drive to the trailhead for Taktsang Monastery, Bhutan’s iconic cliffside sanctuary. The hike winds through pine forests, moss-draped trees, and fluttering prayer flags. Pause at a hilltop cafeteria before the final ascent, where the monastery appears miraculously perched 900 meters above the valley floor.

Built in the 1600s, Taktsang is legendary as the site where Guru Padmasambhava arrived on the back of a flying tiger, bringing Buddhism to Bhutan.

Optional: Continue to Drukgyel Dzong, 18 km north of Paro, a historic fortress rebuilt to commemorate Bhutanese victories over Tibetan invasions in the 17th century.

5. What is the payment policy?

Once your custom itinerary is finalized, a deposit of 30% is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due around 60 days prior to your travel date. For last-minute bookings, full payment may be needed upfront. We accept bank transfers, Visa/Mastercard, or cash. Your travel expert will guide you through each step clearly and transparently.

6. What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change. Here's a quick summary of our cancellation terms:
- 10% of the deposit is non-refundable.
- 65 days or more before departure: No cancellation fee. 
- 31–64 days before departure: 25% cancellation fee
- 16–30 days before departure: 65% cancellation fee, excluding any penalties charged by hotels, cruises, airlines, or rail services. All such penalties will be itemized.
- 15 days before departure & no-show: 100% cancellation fee
