Welcome to the Kingdom of Wonder. Upon landing at Siem Reap International Airport, complete the immigration procedure - whether with a pre-arranged e-visa or visa on arrival - then collect your luggage and head straight to the exit, where your local representative awaits with a warm greeting. After a brief introduction, you will transfer to your hotel in the city for check-in (rooms are available from 2:00 PM). Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, allowing yourself to unwind after your journey.

Accommodation: Siem Reap.

Your day begins before dawn, when the world is still silent and Angkor Wat is only a silhouette against the sky. As the sun rises, golden hues slowly illuminate the temple’s intricate towers - one of the most breathtaking views in Cambodia. This is a popular sunrise spot, especially from December to March, but your early start ensures the best vantage point.

After sunrise, explore the vast grandeur of Angkor Wat - wandering along its galleries, studying intricate bas-reliefs, and photographing the most beautiful devatas hidden in soft morning light.

Continue to Ta Prohm, the iconic temple where ancient stone walls are intertwined with massive silk-cotton trees. This atmospheric site, famed from the Tomb Raider film, offers spectacular photo opportunities. Then, journey deeper into the forest to a remote, lesser-known temple - far from the crowds - where you can enjoy quiet, cinematic moments.

As the afternoon mellows into the Golden Hour, explore the serene faces of Bayon Temple - 54 towers, each adorned with the enigmatic smiles of Avalokiteshvara. Your day concludes at one of the gates of Angkor Thom, capturing sunset reflecting on the tranquil moat.

This evening, enjoy a traditional Apsara Dance Dinner. Khmer classical dance is a poetic form of storytelling - elegant movements paired with music that embodies centuries of Cambodian heritage.

Accommodation: Siem Reap.

Today reveals the heart of Cambodian culture through cuisine, spirituality, and daily life.

Join Madam Vet’s Cooking Class, one of Siem Reap’s most immersive and authentic culinary experiences. Explore a lively local market or village - depending on your chosen schedule - where fresh herbs, tropical produce, and spices come to life. Then travel to a peaceful countryside kitchen, where you’ll prepare traditional Khmer dishes with guidance from an experienced village chef.

Next, change into clothes you don’t mind getting wet as you participate in the sacred Srouch Teok - Water Blessing Ceremony. As a monk chants ancient Pali verses and sprinkles holy water, feel yourself symbolically cleansed of misfortune - an uplifting moment of renewal.

Continue to the Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake. Explore a floating village where hundreds of families live in harmony with the rhythm of rising and receding water levels. Visit a floating restaurant, where lunch is served using freshly caught lake ingredients.

Return to Siem Reap with free time to relax or shop for local crafts.

Accommodation: Siem Reap.

After breakfast, depart by private vehicle with your guide for a scenic journey toward Phnom Penh. The countryside unfolds in beautiful layers - stilt houses, rice paddies, water buffalo crossing the road, children cycling home from school, and local markets buzzing with life.

Stop in Kampong Kdei to admire Spean Pratos, an ancient Angkorian laterite bridge still remarkably intact.

Continue to Sambor Prei Kuk, a vast complex of pre-Angkorian temples hidden within the forest. Dating back to the Chenla Kingdom, these 7th-century structures - older than Angkor Wat - create an atmospheric blend of nature and archaeology.

A memorable pause awaits at Skoun, nicknamed Spiderville, where deep-fried tarantula is a local delicacy. Adventurous travelers may wish to sample this crunchy snack.

Arrive in Phnom Penh by late afternoon for hotel check-in. Despite its modern energy, the capital retains a nostalgic colonial charm, nestled where the Mekong and Tonlé Sap rivers meet.

Accommodation: Phnom Penh.

Start the day with a solemn visit to Choeung Ek Memorial, one of the most significant sites linked to Cambodia’s tragic Khmer Rouge period. The memorial stupa and nearby mass graves offer a moving tribute to the thousands who lost their lives, reminding visitors of the extraordinary resilience of the Cambodian people.

Return to central Phnom Penh to explore the city’s cultural treasures. Visit the Royal Palace and its gleaming Silver Pagoda, home to emerald, diamond, and gold-crafted Buddha statues. Continue to Wat Phnom, the hilltop temple that marks the legendary birthplace of Phnom Penh. Locals come here for good fortune, quiet reflection, and sunset views.

Accommodation: Phnom Penh.

Your driver picks you up for a four-hour journey to Trapeang Rung. After a short rest at the lodge lounge, embark on a tranquil boat ride along the Preak Tachan River, entering the untouched beauty of the Cardamom Mountains.

Arrive at Cardamom Tented Camp, where safari-style tents blend comfort with eco-conscious adventure. As the afternoon light softens, enjoy a guided nature walk through dense forest alive with bird calls, rustling leaves, and the stories of Wildlife Alliance’s conservation work.

Accommodation: Cardamom Camp.

This morning, accompany Wildlife Alliance rangers on a patrol along old poaching and logging trails. Learn how snares and illegal traps are intercepted, and keep an eye out for wildlife moving quietly through the canopy.

Your hike includes a visit to the Ranger Station, where confiscated tools and makeshift weapons reveal the challenges of protecting the forest. Return to camp by kayak or on foot.

Accommodation: Cardamom Camp.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, and perhaps a self-guided walk along the trails before taking a return boat to Trapeang Rung. Meet your driver and continue to Sihanoukville, once a beloved seaside getaway.

From the pier, take a fast boat to the idyllic island of Koh Rong Saloem, where turquoise water and powdery white sand welcome you. Meet the resort staff upon arrival for transfer to your accommodation.

(Note: The boat may stop at multiple locations - inform the crew of your hotel name to ensure you disembark at the correct pier.)

Accommodation: Koh Rong Saloem.

Three full days to simply be - surrounded by sunlit skies, warm coastal waters, and the gentle rhythm of island life.

Swim, relax on the beach, snorkel among coral reefs, enjoy fresh seafood, or wander the shoreline at sunset. This is the tropical escape many only dream of.

Accommodation: Koh Rong Saloem.

Bid farewell to the island and return by express boat to Sihanoukville, where your driver awaits for the overland transfer back to Phnom Penh. Continue onward to the airport for your departure flight.

Thank you for traveling with us - and may your journeys bring you back to Cambodia again one day.
