One of the hidden states, undiscovered land – Chin State, is located at western part of Myanmar. The very primitive living styles of the people and their reed matting houses with bamboo pillar are decorated with buffalo bones they hunted, can be discovered in this land.
Chin People are the primary ethnic group of the Chin State who have many related languages, cultures and traditions. There are many tribes such as Cumtu, Asho, Matu, Laitu, Ngara, Yin Du, Dai and Okpu, all speaking different dialects and having different costumes. The last remaining tribes of Chin women are unique with their tattooed faces, which historically exist as a way of disfiguring their beauty, to make themselves unattractive in the hope that by doing so, they could avoid being kidnapped or chosen as concubines by the Burmese kings in ancient times.
The key-heart of Chin State, Rih Dil Lake is incredibly emerged in northwestern state of Chin, with virgin heart-shaped outline bounded by numerous fungus. The lake is difficult to access due to its remote area. Although the lake is located in a remote area, it is still possible to go there, being the most common way of doing so with a mini-bus from Monywa.
The joyous combination of harvest thanksgiving and New Year celebration, the Khuado festival is making a comeback in Chin State after a quarter of a century. Sacred to ethnic Zomi, the festival was celebrated on October in Tiddim township after the crops were gathered in.

Hoa Lu, situated about 100 km south of Hanoi, was the first capital city of Vietnam under the Dinh and Le Dynasties, between 968 and 1009 A.D. During the Secret War in Laos, many locations played significant roles, with Long Tieng being the most notable. Long Tieng has only recently become accessible, and this tour includes a direct visit to the mountain outpost that functioned as the command and control center during counter-insurgency operations in the 1960s and early 1970s.
We will also visit several other important Lima Sites and explore their historical relevance. Along the way, we will pass through stunning landscapes, enjoy local meals and unforgettable hospitality, and visit some of the most popular destinations in Laos.
