Exciting news for European travelers! Vietnam has announced a new visa exemption policy for citizens of Poland, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland, as part of the country’s 2025 Tourism Development Stimulus Program.

Under Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP, issued on January 15, 2025, travelers from these three countries will be able to enter Vietnam without a visa for stays of up to 45 days, valid between March 1 and December 31, 2025.

What does the visa exemption Include?

If you’re a citizen of Poland, the Czech Republic, or Switzerland, you’ll be able to:

  • Travel to Vietnam without a visa for up to 45 days
  • Enter with any valid passport, as long as it’s valid for at least 6 months
  • Join tours operated by licensed Vietnamese inbound tour operators

This policy is part of Vietnam’s broader efforts to welcome more visitors from Europe and make travel easier and more accessible.

Who Qualifies and What’s Required?

To enjoy visa-free entry under this program, travelers must:

  • Hold a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival
  • Book a tour with a licensed inbound tour operator in Vietnam
  • Provide a tour confirmation issued by the operator
  • Meet all other legal entry requirements set by Vietnamese authorities
