Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Thimphu (Meal: L, D)

Arrive at Paro International Airport, where crisp mountain air, forested ridges, and welcoming Bhutanese in vibrant national dress create a breathtaking first impression. On clear days, spot the snow-capped Himalayas - for the best view, sit on the left-hand side. Descend steeply into Paro Valley, feeling the gentle slowing of Bhutanese life.

After lunch, drive to Buddha Dordenma, perched atop a hill in Kuensel Phodrang Nature Park, overlooking Thimphu Valley. This 51.5-meter gilded bronze statue, housing 125,000 smaller Buddhas, emanates peace and joy, fulfilling an 8th-century prophecy. The Buddha sits on a vast meditation hall, a sight both majestic and serene.

Day 2: Discover Thimphu (Meal: B, L, D)

Discover Thimphu’s cultural and spiritual landmarks:

Day 3: Scenic Drive to Punakha (Meal: B, L, D)

After lunch, drive back to Paro, crossing Dochu La Pass once more, absorbing its serene mountain vistas.

Day 5: Paro Festival Experience (Meal: B, L, D)

Drive to the trailhead for Taktsang Monastery, the legendary Tiger’s Nest perched on a sheer cliff 900 meters above the valley. Stop mid-trail at a cafeteria, then continue to behold this 17th-century monastery where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have arrived on a flying tiger.

If time permits, drive north to view Drukgyel Dzong, the historic fortress where Bhutanese forces repelled Tibetan invaders in the 17th century.

We understand that plans can change. Here's a quick summary of our cancellation terms:
- 10% of the deposit is non-refundable.
- 65 days or more before departure: No cancellation fee. 
- 31–64 days before departure: 25% cancellation fee
- 16–30 days before departure: 65% cancellation fee, excluding any penalties charged by hotels, cruises, airlines, or rail services. All such penalties will be itemized.
- 15 days before departure & no-show: 100% cancellation fee
