Hanoi – Incense village – Hat Village – Hanoi
Overview
About 30km from the center of Hanoi, Quang Phu Cau village is not only famous for its traditional incense making, it also preserves the beauty of the northern village with banyan trees, water wharf, communal yard.
Not too far from Incense village is Chuong village, well-known for its traditional hat making, called “Non la” in Vietnamese. Non la is a discreet charm of Vietnamese women from generation to generation, no matter how rich or poor, as well in the big cities or the rural areas.
08.00 AM Pick up at your hotel, then transfer to and visit Chuong conical hat village.
Upon arrival, we will visit to Chuong pagoda. Chuong Pagoda is famous for its many Buddha statues, notably are 18 Arhats, four Bodhisattvas and the King of Hell’s Seven Court Halls along the two corridors.
After that, we walk around the village to see how locals live their daily lives, we witness the detailed process of making conical hats and also have the choice to purchase unique handmade conical hats, especial as “non quai thao”, which is suitable for girls in spring festivals, village festivities, “cheo” and “Quan ho” for folk music festivals.
Arrive back in Hanoi around noon time. Tour ends.
